Episode 116: Helicopters

/ April 14, 2020/ Barenaked ABCs/ 0 comments

This week we had a guest from the other side of the country. We had to bring him in through the air to get here in time. Given social distancing, airplane travel didn’t seem right. So David Kincannon brought his own helicopter. I love it when a plan comes together. And speaking of veterans, this week we discuss a protest song, “Helicopters”.

In the live version, in NY on 3/3/04, they put the rotor noises at the beginning and end (and kazoo of “We Are The World”)

Steven playing at a Borders, slightly faster, which makes it sound happier.  Finishes the song with whistling the outro and then some banter with the audience.
